When my dad lay on his death bed almost 6 years ago, I remember that holding his hand was all I wanted to do. I held it for only 15 minutes this day that I refer to here, but he clutched mine for vitality, and it was truly awesome to be able to mean so much to someone by doing such a simple thing.
I have often wondered why so much emphasis is placed on doing things as opposed to, say, validating things. Much value exists in ‘nothing.’
